A top trade duo from the Taiwan government will be at the show on Thursday (May 17th) to answer questions and discuss opportunities for the region – a market with high disposable income keen to welcome UK businesses in every sector from food to renewables.

Qing Lin, CEO of Gloucestershire-based Join in China is responsible for arranging the visit: “We’re obviously delighted that such busy government representatives will be at GBS18. It will provide a unique opportunity for businesses to explore how they can export to Taiwan, and we hope it will dispel a few myths too,” she commented. “There are millions of consumers in Taiwan, mainland China and Hong-Kong that represent a huge market for companies in Gloucestershire and I hope we’ll be able to show it can be a painless exercise!”

Across the two day show, export opportunities will be showcased by exhibitors and discussions. Among the exhibitors will be Join in China, sharing case studies of how Gloucestershire companies have successfully taken the journey to business growth in China and Hong-Kong. The company smooths the way for companies wanting to export to the world’s second largest economy and will be on hand throughout the show to answer questions about the opportunities that exist and give advice on the best approach.
